Community Service Programs
Whether we are fundraising for programs we support, gathering needed items, or volunteering in the community, GFWC Woman's Club of Manassas serves in a variety of ways.
Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention
Our goal is to increase awareness, and help prevent the widespread occurrence of violence against women in communities across the nation—and the globe. Areas of focus include Intimate Partner Violence, Child Abuse, Teen Dating Violence, Campus Sexual Assault, Elder Abuse, Violence Against Native American Women, Military Sexual Assault, and Human Trafficking.

Advocates for Children
Advocates for Children is designed to encourage all clubs to make a difference in the life of a child by being an advocate. The Program was envisioned as a way for clubwomen to provide a voice for children and to teach and encourage parents and other caregivers to advocate for children at the grassroots level.
Boxes of Basics
Boxes of Basics believes every child deserves to have their basic clothing needs met.
Their mission is to empower kids with seasonal wardrobes packed with love and compassion. They work with school counselors, social workers, faith leaders and human services agencies to provide children with stylish, quality clothing that will give kids confidence and help them thrive!
Arts and Culture
The GFWC Arts and Culture Community Service Program encourages members to promote and support art and cultural programs in their clubs and communities, through the creation of projects that include crafts, dance, drama, food, music, and other manifestations of art and culture that develop skills, awareness, and appreciation.
